I would like to transfer music from 33rpm LP’s (via a Marantz 6300 turntable) and reel-to-reel tapes (Teac X-300R) to CD’s. I have a Dell 2.6Ghz Pentium 4 with an Integrated 5.1 Audio with Dolby Digital 5.1 capability. Is this adequate for a quality transfer or should I get a new audio card? I have no aspirations for live mixing or recording. Recommendations appreciated. Thanks…

Yes and maybe no.

Will it work?...Yes.

Will it provide great results?...Depends on your definition of "great."
If you are an audiophile, get a good phono preamp and something like this.
