I have two mics plugged into my Audio Buddy. Both of the microphones work, but only when plugged into the Mic 1 input. I can't get any sound out of the Mic 2 slot. Any ideas?

PS. I'm recording business instructional guides onto CD. I'm using SoundForge 7 and CD Architect. The quality of the CDs I'm producing is excellent. I only wish I could get both Mic inputs to work.

The AudioBuddy has 2 outputs. Output 1 is for Input 1, and Output 2 is for Input 2. In order to records BOTH mics at the same time, both outputs must be connected to the line-in or mic-in on your sound card. If you are using both the Line and Mic inputs on sound card while you record, you should set the recording source to "what you hear", not just line or mic.

or you could possibly set up the two outputs of the audiobuddy to form one 1/8" stereo jack, and set your recording software to record the left and right channels into separate tracs. just an idea.
