audio buddy vs. dmp3 ?

i need something cheap(ish)... like less than 200 dollars, and these two are the ones that i've been recommended the most. which should i go with? i don't think i need more than 2 preamps for now at least. and if theres another one you guys recommend, let me know.

also, headphones. which headphones should i get, also for cheap(ish)?

If you can swing the bucks, go with the DMP3. It has vu meters, instead of just a clip light, and it provides a full +48v of phantom, where I think the Audio Buddy has less...I think I read +42 or so. That may not mean anything, but someone has said certain mics can be sesative to that.

Also look into a pair of studio projects VTB-1s. Probably just as good as the DMP3, but with a different flavor.
