Audio Buddy question from new member

I'm trying to hook up an Audio Buddy to my computer to record acoustic guitar with a mic. My question is, when you come out of the Buddy with the 1/4 output jack to the line in on the computer. Isn't the line in jack a stereo jack as opposed to the mono jack on the Buddy? What do you do to match these up?

I think all that will happen is you will wind up with two of the same tracks. Left and right will be mono, not stereo. If this makes any sense. I use an Audio Buddy connected to my 4 track, and it works, just mono.
