We have recorded several tunes with both midi keyboards & audio singing, acoustic guitar etc.

Why can't we mix down to an MP3? Pro Audio 9 only lets us:
- mix down all the midi & no analog audio goes with it
- or we get just the analog audio & no midi

How do you mix down a tune in Pro Audio 9 & get a finished, mixed version to send to people? (assume we have done all the recording, effects, mixing, etc.)

The MIDI data has to be converted to audio before you can mix down to anything (wave, mp3, etc.).

Moskus, we are recording in Cakewalk with an external keyboard, when we hit record, we get a midi recording.

What do you mean "record in Audio", we are doing what the FAQ says. We are going into a soundcard with our midi line.

Should we get an adapter & run into the mixing board with the mic & guitar 1/4", that kind of thing? Make it an analog recording?
