audient asp 008 or presonus M80

does anybody already tried both ??
what do you recommand ?? (i'm more into blues-roots music)
(is that better to have 2 different quads ?)

I've heard both.. If you need to hook to a computer/soundcard, then the Audient probably the way to go ( the M-80 doesn't have digital out)..As far as soundwise, I personally ( IME) would choose the Audient. Not because the M-80 sound bad, because the Audient is more opened and transparent.. Of course if you are needing color then the M-80 will be good..Good luck..

well, i wanted to plug in to my soundcard M audio and then drive my tracks to protools ... cause i don't have a console ...
that means i can't do that with the M80??
i just can put it between a mic and the console ?

should have any problems getting either into a computer... on the basis of having worked on the inside of some presonus stuff i find it's actually pretty well made... having said that though i would expect the audient to be the superiour piece... they make some serious big boards...
