Anyone know of a good online/offline retailer that carries -10 and/or -20 db attenuator pads?

I'd call Guitar Center but I'm too lazy. :D

Thanks!

Yo Chess....

I'd try Markertek.com

They got most of that stuff and some of their prices are great as well. I just got a SansAmp Bass Driver there for 153 bucks when everyone else wants at least 180.

You must have a really good Guitar Center if you're confident that most of the people there would even know what an "attenuator pad" is.

LOL! That's funny. It depends on who's working and who's off. As a matter of fact, I just called GC . . . Clueless answered, and he transfered me to Peabrain, who took down my number and told me he'd check and call me back.

Actually, Clueless originally told me they have DI boxes in with that feature. When I told him I wasn't keen on the idea of plugging a mic in to a DI box . . . that's when he transfered me to dipshit, who told me that halfwit had the day off, and then transfered me to Peabrain as a last resort.

I don't mind halfwit -- he's at least got half a brain, which probably explains why he's rarely in or available.

Hey Chessrock! I love that song on your site "That's The Way"! Who wrote and arranged that? It's beautiful. I also loved the tight bass - is that from a mic or DI?

Even my Guitar Center here in Boise has one guy who knows what he's doing, but, like you said, I think he get's a lot of time off.

Then there's a guy there who tried to sell someone a Delta 44 by saying, "You see these quarter-inch jacks? There's where you plug your mics into." (The inputs on a Delta 44 are line-ins.) I didn't feel like being a jerk so, as soon as Boise's answer to "Peabrain" left, I explained to the clueless customer to never listen to anything that moron had to say again.

How do these people get jobs selling gear?

Yikes, Chess....

Stay away from those people! They will damage your day and mangle your very insanity.

Hey BB, I'm not sure. I'll PM you with Wendy's email. I'm sure she'd appreciate a little fan mail. She's one of those very rare combinations: mega-talented singer, mega-talented vocal teacher, mega-sweetheart. Wish there were more like her.
