Asking for Headphone Recommendation: I just need isolation

Almost all my mixing/mastering is done via monitor speakers, so I need headphones only for overdubbing. The only real requirement other than reliability is being able to prevent playback leakage into the recording environment. Obviously some kind of closed-back design is required. Other than that though, I don't want to spend a bundle on unneeded "mix worthy" tone.

As far as cushion design, I really like the comfort of the AKG K240's I currently own, but alas they are open-backed and leak like a sieve. Something with similar ergos would be welcomed.

Any help is appreciated.

If you are looking for something quality that will last I would go with Sennheiser HD 380 pro, or even a lower model. It's a bit pricey, but no leakage whatsoever.

Thanks for the replies.

The 380's are on the pricey side for me, and the K271's are definitely too much (although I know from my K240's that they would be comfortable).

The MoreMe's are incredibly cheap. So long as they don't leak, a pair of these would be great. I'll look around for some reviews on them.

Thanks Harvey. I went to your web site. Certainly looks like a unique product you've got there.
