I am running Sonar 4.0 PE in asio mode with my Audigy card and am having trouble finding an easy way to bounce my midi tracks to audio tracks. In WDM I used to switch my recording input to midi in my sound card volume control. But now that I am using ASIO that no longer applies. How do I do this easily?

Not sure to be honest. I am using some free soundfonts that I downloaded, I found a couple set that I really like how they sound. Can I make these work through soft synths?

Depends on the Softsynth. Some will play sound font formats - e.g., Kompakt. (I think the one bundled with Sonar Producer will as well - forgot the name at present.) Others will only play their own proprietary format, e.g, Edirol VSC.

I agree with Brzilian, these are at least as good as the MIDI collection built into most sound cards, and in many cases significantly better. Plus you don't even have to record them to audio to export a wave file.
