I just bought FL Studio 6 XXL Producer's Edition and I love it. It has more features than I'll ever use, and it's extremely easy. I only had 1 question that maybe you guys could answer, because I couldn't seem to locate it on the FL Studio website. I use a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz soundcard, and I was wondering if the Santa Cruz has ASIO. The way I understand it, the only way to record from my mic into FL Studio is if the soundcard has ASIO. Can anybody offer suggestions.

P.S. Sorry I've been gone so long, I just graduated from the FDNY fire academy and am on the waiting list for FDNY as a firefighter. Yay!

If your Card doesn"t Come with an ASIO Driver and there is no mentions of ASIO in the Manual for your Sound Card then you coulc Try installing a Third party ASIO driver Called "ASIO4ALL v2.0" which adds ASIO features to most all Sound Cards....

Do a Google search and you will Find it easilly enough....

Also if you are Going to be doing a Lot of Computer recording you might consider getting a Real Sound card made for audio Recording Like a "M-Audio 2496" or a Delta 44......

Cheers

I figured as much. I download ASIO for all, and hit another bump in the road. I am currently downloading a WDM driver for the Santa Cruz. My current driver is VxD, so I need a WDM so ASIO will work. I hope this works.

I have a working WDM driver, and my ASIO is set, and now I must get used to the new setup. I'm going to address another problem I currently have on a new thread right now though.
