It seems like whenever i have directsound applications running, my ASIO fails and leaves my DAW hanging. and the same thing the other way around; When i'm in my daw, and wants to play i.e. an mp3 for reference to what i'm doing i have to import the mp3 into the daw or close the daw, instead of just opening up a winamp instance.
are there any fixes/patches to the drivers that can fix this, or is the Alpha just unable to run ASIO and Directsound at the same time?
