I decided to give my soundcard another try. I rolled my Vamp's master volume to almost null, line-in recording volume to almost null, and it seemed to have cleared up recording quality a lil bit.

Oh and I finally got soundclick account! Great site

Comments/CC please. Higher mids? Less chorus maybe?

Anyone? I know I don't have drums/bass there, but still! Give me some feedback guys pls!

We're all recovering from the fireworks.....lol...

Great metal guitar chops...the recording seems good tone and volume wise. It would need to be checked in a ful mix with drums and vocals to be sure but sounds good for what you have.

It sounds ok. Yeah, it probably wouldn't hurt to scale back the chorus a little.

Definitely needs some bass and drums :D

Oh, doh! 4th of July indeed, forgot :D

Well I did think the guitar seemed decent enough to me, but I wasn't sure of how it would sound on other speakers. If that seemed to have worked, I might as well V-amp the bassist and mike the drummer and try mixing the tracks in Audacity.

Thanks guys!

The guitar is way too wet with chorus. Something like this would probably be better with a few cleaner guitar tracks and one with the chorus so it's more subtle.

Yeah I only just started playing with V-amp and it's effects, so I suppose I still go overboard with what I can do with it :D

Thanks
