I agree with with billy BO - Every rhyme doesnt have to be about christ name. Some people can write some really deep ill stuff- using meta's and what not in christian rap.
I have JUST switched to christian rap - Im sick of rapping for the world all it does is screw you over. Id also much rather put out music WITH meaning then just garbage that is made now days. Listen to 2-pac's changes , anything that man wrote is still HOT till this day. WHy cause his lyrics had value and mean the same now as they did back then.
By the grace of god i have the awsome power to rap. I could have easily gotten signed to a mainstream lable, i made the name for myself and everything.

my take on the hook - since dude wanna sing it - git creative wit it - see if u can come up wit somethin - that way it'll be a 3 way lane - esp. since our verses are present on the board as well (well, i got my last 8 to drop!)

i know i'll finish up my last 8 tomorrow - n start a ruf rec. session - we mite need to figure out the timin of hte verses too though - i mean, do the good and evil verses come back to back or are tehy split between the hook?

I just realized that the B had posted the track already,that is what I was waiting to hear it 1st! Well, I heard it! It is faster than I thought, but Not a problem......
I know the Theme is Good vs Evil but I am looking what key phrases you guys might want the hook to feature. It is a 16 right? What is the outcome of the Good vs Evil? (Evil converting to Good, Good understanding Evil, both agree that they are different, I think knowing that could influence a relevant hook) Any ideas from you guys or anyone else, just let me know! But I will start on something today, after the JOB!
 
i think it would be evil knowing good is the right way, but stuck in his "grinding" ways. that's what it sounds like to me from the lyrics. ... I PM'd gully about possibly changing my verses tho.. what do you guys think? are they good enough? cuz i had a different, more defensive, stance that i could go with.

And Bill, I'll start on some type of concept within the terms you stated! You guys know, as far as your verses, the message you want to get across. So keep me informed with any changes. But I will get on it, a lil later!

I am listening to this beat again, it is the fast tempo one right?
It seems to fast to just have an 8 bar hook, it might just be me but it sounds like a 16 at least. But just let me know, I can improvise....I hope to have something this around this weekend, just wanna know where to start!
 
If Bill or Gully can send me a sample of what they have (vocals with instr) it will help tremendously and give me a better idea of where to go!
 
i'll squeeze in a quick session sometime soon for a scratch track for you... i dont know about the timing though, cuz the beat's not setup right.
