Hi guys,
I just bought two Tube PAC's for $119 a piece. ART's website and manual say that the pac has two 12AX7's, but when I opened them up yesterday, they each had one 12AX7 and one 12AT7. What's up with that. I was wondering if any of you pac owners have ever opened yours up or are willing to open yours up so that we can find out if it's just my pac's that are this way or if they are all this way or if they are supposed to be this way. I know that the AT7 has a lower output than the AX7, but I don't know why we would want that. I'm wondering if they were meant two have one of each tube or if it was just a typo on ART's part. If any of you pac owners can help, I would appreciate it. Thanks AJ.
