I own both the Art and 6Q.
The Art offers some nice subtle coloration. The comp can be a little slow, but the EQs are decent. An often overlooked strip, that is actually very decent.
The 6Q is the best sounding budget strip I've heard under $500. The pre is transparent and fat and is the closest you will get to a Vintech Neve clone, without dropping a lot of money. It's that good. The comp is on the aggressive side, but still very usable and works well on electric gtrs and snare. The EQs are also very musical. Another plus is that the pre can be used with the input transformer kicked in or out, for a slightly different sound. My only critisism is that they did not use fasteners to secure the jacks, which is pretty stupid.
At under $350, you might want to pick up a couple of these units, which is what I did.
