ART DPS vs. DMP3 pre amps

I am trying to decide between these 2 pre amps for 2 channel recording in conjuction with the 2496 audiophile soundcard. Does anyone have recommendations? I want to record vocals, acoustic guitar and electric guitar and am trying to figure out the best setup to go with for this. A friend says he can set me up with software to record. Thanks for your input (and output). The ART has the ability to go digital. Is this an asset for my application? Or is the DMP3 a better pre amp? Any help to guide me through the setup for recording would be appreciated. Thanks.

There are a lot of people here that like the DMP3, including me. I don't have any experience with the ART stuff, but if I was going to buy an ART pre it would probably be the Pro MPA for $339. It originally sold for around $600 I think. But I'm not even sure it's better than the DMP3. It sure is cool looking, though.
