Arpeggios!

Can anyone tell me why some synths send an arpeggiated note sequence via midi and some do not?
For instance k2500 will
ms2000 won't
nord lead 3 won't
roland sh32 will...
WTF?
Am I missing some secret to making it happen or is it just something some manufacturers don't make available?
Does anyone else wonder about this or have any answers?

I used to have a Yamaha CS1x, and it didn't send any MIDI notes frpm the arpregiator. I was told that I needed the CS2x (or perhaps CS6x, I don't remember). So, in that case it was missing because it was the cheapest synth in that series.

On my Korg Triton LE, I have to put LOCAL ON. Otherwise, it doesn't send the MIDI notes from the arpregiator.

I am not that familiar with your synths, but if it is cheap gear it might not send the notes, and if it is more expensive gear it might just need to be toggled on somewhere.
