Well..... sounds confusing eh?

I'm working on the music genre EUROBEAT. And I know it is based on 4 beats. Which is 0.375 seconds approximately, and 1.5 secs is a complete one.

Well, I'm working on mixing and remove vocals [ special one ] in the Cool Edit forum, if anyone has clues, please assist thanks.

Back to the main question, I'm searching for a software that can equally and automatically divide the WHOLE song into equal beats, or whatever portion. Are there softwares like that?

If the beat is fairly well defined, most of the top audio sequencing programs can do that. In Cakewalk, it's called "extract audio timing" , and the way it works is to look at repetitive peaks in the audio signal. I use Cakewalk Pro Audio, which is the fore-runner of Sonar. Cubase, Logic and probably others would have a similar function.
