Are Sony UX-PRO cassette's any good?

I have a chance to buy a bulk amount of these tapes but i have never had a chance to use these tapes before,how do they compare to the likes of Maxell XLII-S and TDK SA-X?I have been using the Maxell XLII-S's and have never had a problem with them so i'm just curious how the UX-PRO's are?Thanks so much in advanced..

Everybody who replied to your other thread thinks the Sony's are great tapes.
If you can get a lot at a great deal - go for it.
Most of my TDK's and Maxell's are shot, but the Sony's are still running.

And i did forget about my post way back when (My bad) going to buy a bulk amount of 100 of the UX-PRO's for $1.25 each brand new still in wrapper,is that a good price for these tapes,$1.25 each?PEACE..
 
That seems like an excellent price. A couple of years ago when I was using casettes (mainly TDK) the ones I used cost $5-7 I think.
 
I'd even pay $1.25 for TDK's ! :D I paid more than that many moons ago as well ...
