Are some pop filters better than others?

only difference really will be the build quality they all will work but some will not last if you just chuck them in a bag of gear to take with you but all work relitivly the same. its a topic that has been brought up lots here

I use the CAD gooseneck ones. They're well built, stay put, & not too expensive.

There are 1 layer and 2 layer ones. Some with nylon, some with metal. Get one that clamps securely, bends easily and stays in place.

Don't get a single layer one, a dual layer is far more effective.

The Håkan P110 Pop Killer is very effective and is also very affordable.

The foam was specially selected to give maximum pop protection without changing the character of the sound (you get two foams in the kit) - also the frame is pretty invisible to sound waves to you don't get any HF reflections off the frame.
