Arctic Summer - Rock/Ambient - Thoughts on this mix?

i like how the the chords morph in the background against the solo guitar...
i assume that's some electronic effect bending the note, versus a whammy bar, but i could be wrong...

this reminds me of a modern take of the old 60's 'acid rock' period,
which i thought was pretty mind bendy...

the ending was way to abrubt...
it needs to sustain out into infinity..
or at least, 15 seconds.

I was tweaking a tremolo/phase pedal on the bg chords as they rung out, slowly making them more intense over time. I also used a whammy bar for the bendy effect. Because I’m not used to holding it in my hand while picking chords it took several attempts to record those parts, even though they’re really simple! It’s probably a lot easier on a jag or jazzmaster than a strat.

I agree on the ending being abrupt.
