Sorry to ask a question that I think I know the answer to, but:

If I archive tracks, am I unlimited as to how many tracks I can record?(then archive)
i.e. Can I do a violin solo 50 times, archive each one, and then finally pick the best? I have a few tunes on the way for a few forum friends ( Alan and Paul), but I am a bit picky about my work.Where do the archived tracks "go"? Can I do this ad nauseum (sp)?

David -

Archived tracks go to the same place that live and/or muted tracks go to - i.e., wave files on your hard drive. The difference with archived tracks is that Cakewalk/Sonar ignores them during playback. Therefore they don't use any of your resources (other than hard drive storage space).

Since they aren't using any of your computer resources, you should be able to have as many as you want.
