I would like to apply an effect, a high pass filter for example, to a midi track in Cubase SL 2.0. However, I only want the filter to be applied to the track when I am keying a sound from another midi track. Even more specifically, I would like the filtering applied when I hold the keys down for more than say a quarter note. Is there a way to tell cubase to apply an effect but only under some user defined condition? Thanks for any tips or experiences.... peace
