OK, looks like you have to bounce the track and bring it back it. That seems rather strange for such an advanced DAW not to support.

I've always found it to be a really efficient DAW man. It's not a function I've ever wished for, to be honest.
I've certainly never had to bounce/import before.

The OP even says he doesn't get this problem on his much weaker laptop, so I guess there's something else at play.

My CPU is at about 25% use when this happens.
Something else is wrong.
It hasn't been happening as much lately but I think it might be my SSD to be honest.

Jesus. :p
Do it man. It's a 2 minute minor inconvenience at worst, and a solution at best. :)

He won't understand anyway man - He only speaks Jive. ;)

It is not as funny now, but the lady who translates is the actress who played the mom on "Leave It To Beaver" from the 50's. For those of us who had watched the reruns (for many us as a part of after school programs), it was pretty damn funny.

Oh, you just said a whole bunch of stuff I don't know. :(

2 minutes of inconvenience?
What do I look like to you, some 20th century savage?! :D

Heh, I meant the minor aftermath where PT forgets your recently opened sessions and things like that. :p
Damn, if PT so much as looks at me funny I run that tool. Long term lifesaver!
