Hey I have my project studio. I have some genelec 1031a and am now going down the pipeline to make everything sound better. I currently have a M-Audio Audiophile... which is great except the lack of inputs. I am looking to upgrade to at least 8 in's and out's. I have a Mackie 1604 Vlz Pro... which I soon will be looking to upgrade or maybe just have that for live use.
Question being... with the Apogee Rosetta 800 I assume the price is justifed amongst its sonic quality? Also would I be best off just running a patchbay to the Rosetta 800? Also do I need to buy a digital audio card to work with the Rosetta 800, like a HME Hammerfall.
