Good news huh?

Well it would be if it wasn't more than 9 (nine- yes that's NINE) fucking times more than the US list price.

I understand and accept why we have to pay a bit more for stuff but x9 really takes the biscuit.

£2469.99 UK converts to $4,721 US. The US list price, as I'm sure most of you know, is $499.

Sorry for the rant but that's annoyed me quite a lot.

Crikey! If they're going to charge that much for it they could at least make sure the jpg/gif works

Couldn't one of us in the States just pick one up for you and send it over?

(After receiving payment, of course :D )

£450 excl VAT

I don't have a clue what turnkey are playing at there. I've sent them an email anyway linking to that site. Seeing as turnkey say:

Europe's Lowest Prices Guarantee:
* Our guarantee is that we will beat any genuine quote, on identical goods, from a UK or European dealer at time of order. Other offers may not be available when price beating. We must be able to substantiate the quote and the goods must be available and in stock.

Only if the lunchbox has a voltage switch on it to go between 110 and 220/240, or he's willing to either put in his own power supply, or get an offboard voltage regulator. A lot of gear does switch (including computer power supplies, and my Motu 828m2 i happily discovered), but a lot doesn't as well.

I got a 110 to 220 converter for my PAL vcr and TV after I moved. It works like a charm, but it took a few years to track down, and I still paid $150 for it.

actually, looking at the website, it says "Self-Powered, 100 to 250 Volts, 47 to63 Hz, Switchable". So yeah. We could send one over to him without any issue whatsoever. Were I smart, I'd just cancel this post. But i'll hit the submit button anyway.
