APEX 210 Ribbon Mic.
I just purchased from the local music store on Sat and I have to say
I am extremely please with this mic. Keep in mind I have little experience with ribbon mic's, and I am kicking myself for never trying one out.
Has anyone else here had a chance to use the 210, and if so, what were your thoughts. It takes a fair bit of juice from the
pre, and from what I have been told thats the nature of ribbon mics. If I were plug in a condenser mic in the same channel it would go through the roof..
I cant believe how "full" you can get vocals sounding and how rich and detailed the response is. You can really get the "Big" sound from this mic.
I strongly reccommend this mic to anyone, and for the price, you just cant loose !
