If your bored/or interested Id be very very grateful if someone could play drums on my track for my cd.

Whatever you want to do is cool, your the drummer. Tempo is 95 bpm.

I need a high fidelity file if possible. And I know its asking a lot, but if you have the dry seperate tracks (snare/kick etc) thatd be preffered to a mixed file.

If space is a problem I have a large online drive.

Here it is: http://www.savefile.com/files/2299943

Thanks so much,

Ajay

Cool track. If I get a chance, I'll try and lay down some tracks for ya! But don't wait for me!

let me try. :) but same as above, don't wait for me!

hmmm.. i seem to be having some problems downloading it, my computer stops at about 3.92mb, thats about 2 minutes of the song.
anyways, i will try again using my father's computer. :p

Scotsman: Awesome man, great job I love it. I really appreciate it. The drums really change the character of the song.

Thanks for all the offers guys, i thought it was hard to find drummers for this stuff. Pepsodent I could email it if you want.

Thanks again fellas,

Ajay

no need. i think my internet connection is just @!%@$ting me. the first download reached at about 2 mb before the error kicked it, then i tried it again, this time 2.5 mb, then about 3 mb for the third time. it took me 5 downloads to finish the whole song. :)

here it is! i still have the dry tracks, tell me if you still want them. they are a bit crappy so if you don't want to use it i can understand why. haha! :)

Glad you liked it -----anytime dude.

I used a Yamaha dtxplorer and eurodeck mixer and a cheapo
soundblaster what did you use pepsodent, i liked yours man
well done. :)

thanks man. my take was done real quick, had a sm57 on the bass, 57 beta on the snare, a mystery condenser mic and a sm58 on both overheads! haha! my friend borrowed by mics so i had to do with these. :) i had no time to mess with much EQ and compression though. :(

i like yours too scotsman, real tight sounds in there. im currently downloading the drum tracks, wanna hear them separate from the rest of the mix. :)

The track itself is awsome and has grew on me, sounds
10x better through my Cyrus audio system, but the track
is a great recording, tell us a bit about it desiwrx02 . I did
mine without a metranome :( i just noticed it was 95bpm.
I've done a few and really get a BIG BUZZ doing them----
-----------for free.. :)

another i done

I've just listened to both versions there and pepsodent if
you had my kit to do it you would have sounded plenty better.
Technicaly i'd say your a better drummer than me, your fills
sound better, more.....pro like, one has to be honest but we
all know different styles for different people.
What kind of kit and cymbals were you using, what age are
you and how long you been playing.....if you dont mind me asking.

Really interesting project!
Well done guys.
Is anyone interested in new projects! I have few songs on soundclick (click on my signature). I'll upload some more very soon.
Song genres are different and your creativity as a drum player will probably lift song to another level.
You don't need to care much about bass track because I'll retrack it to fit new drum track. mp3 quality is enough (for now).
There are some bad drum machine tracks in my mixes and if you need version with no drum track at all just say so.

thanks man, im 19, turning 20 this august. haha!
i've been playing for like 6 years now, but the real deal happened about 3 years ago. that's when i started getting serious practicing and learning the drums. :) and for the recording part, im still learning it, about a year in the process, but honestly speaking, i only spent about 4 months on the subject due to school (my school is faaaar away from home). :p

i used a yamaha stage custom with 4-year old heads, K cymbals, and uh.. crappy speakers. :)

Pepsodent: Killer job bro! appreciate it.

Markaholic: Really liked it man, thanks a lot.

Scotsman: This is just a song that I recorded back last year, It used to have a drum track from a casio keyboard. Go figure! I did it in a pro studio so thats why the quality is pretty good. The stuff I record at home sounds like garbage.

I am really overwhelmed by the response. Looks like I have an audition going on here, I would never have guessed. Thanks a lot guys I really appreciate your time and effort.

Im gonna poll my friends to see which one they like the best!

Thanks again,

Ajay

Mark----what did you use to lay your drumtrack down....what kit?

lol im such a cheater! :p
I used software called Groove Agent 2...from the manual it shows a Premier Drumset with a Slingerland "Radio King" snare.
It has Mats-Erik Bjorklund behind the kit.

I don't mean to be be down on any other groups of people...but drummers man, they're the least judgemental. Guitarists are a dime a dozen; seems like that might create a lot of competition.

"ur trak sux dude wtf wer u thinkin haha my dog culd play scails better than that"
