Anyone wanna do a collaboration recording?

If anyone wants to do any kind of collab recording, I can do electric guitar, but I really prefer to do piano (I guess there are less pianists also). If anyone's in, I would like to do something in a nice old school way like Genesis probably, but hey, anything is good guys. Feel free to post any ideas, and feel free to be my partner :P

By the way, I was trained by a classical teacher, but I love mostly any style!

I don't have anything on the shelf, I usually just get bored and write something on the fly and hit record. :p

I'm a guitarist (mostly rhythm and oddity/space), can play bass when needed. My real niche is production...
 
what's a niche??? (I am from Canada, quebec, and in french, a niche is a DOGHOUSE :P)

I am intrigued by the idea of an online collaboration. I play guitar (and a few other things) and have been told I can sing o.k. Unfortunately, my February is booked up like a library. If you are still looking for people after that, shoot me a pm or an email to 'medscby' at yahoo.

I wouldn't mind getting in on this. Bass player here. What did you have in mind? I have some extra time on my hands now... :)
 
We have possible piano, guitar, bass.. we need a drummer to chime in...
 
I have access to a couple of drummers

I play guitar, but two of my best friends are drummers that would be willing to lend their talents...let me know

I play bass so I can re-record all the parts that Rokket screws up. :D

Just kidding buddy.

I play guitar also. If you guys get something going and if I think I can ad anything I will throw down a track or two. Maybe even sing a little.
 
Hey, sounds cool, I can do vocals after you guys all finish up, Genesis is a big influence (check out "Look Away" on http://www.ampcast.com/therealside and tell me if I am not influenced by the Lamb Lies Down on Broadway!!!)

I also play guitar, bass, keys & drums, but it looks like ya got those bases covered!!! ;)

You have a fretless bass, right? I have a five string, so I guess whichever the song calls for.... And I can do guitar also.

But I ain't singing! :D

I'm pretty swamped until about mid-month, but if you still need a drummer after that, I can see what that fat kid down there is doing...

Well I am myself very busy at the moment, but I always have time for a nice project like this one. I was looking more towards a composition. I don't have any material right now, but it's great to know there are people willing to work on this project, and maybe we could turn this project in beeing PMC #9! That would be kinda cool.

I may try to write something and post it before or for the weed-end. I was thinking about something pretty simple with a good 7/8 feel, just like genesis the CINEMA SHOW. Also, complex multi-rythm paterns would be interresting. I find that nowdays, people don't explore rythms as much as in the good 'old days.

If anyone has something to post, you can post it and we'll see how we can build something around it.

If anyone would like to trow in a 12 string guitar, that would be pretty sweeeeet.

Also, feel free to post composition ideas, samples, etc, this project is about all of us just having fun and jammin'

Ok, so I guess we can kick it off with someone coming up with an idea to build on. I have a melody that needs a LOT of work. I'll try to get it up here by the "weed-end" (I love that slip up!!!).
