if we gonna lay it down on my beats i would like ya'll to let me know which ones we gonna use so i can make em mp3 downloads on soundclick and then u guys record your vocals and send me the accapellas wit a sample of how ur flow goes wit the beat and i'll put together the whole track and hit everyone who participated in it with the final copy ight?

I just opened a soundclick page. I put 3 beats on there, 1 is unfinished but can be finished real fast, just need to arrange it.

The "Gangsta Party" one is on a party type of vibe, if we use it we can ditch the hook if yall want.

The "They just stare" beat is a old ass beat I made over a year ago but never used.

The "New Beat" is what I've been working on these past few days. It can be arranged in no time if we use it.

Let me know what yall think, I can do some more digging too I got lots of older beats. But if yall interested (DesertEase, QuietB and Trakz) let me know.
 
Let's set it up...lol it's been in the idea stage for a couple of days now. Who wants to organize this? I'll take the task of mixing the song.
 
lets pick what beats we wanna use and post them as mp3's on soundclick so everyone can download and write and rap to it then everyone can send me the vocals (acapellas) and i'll put em together and i'll send my copies to mental and he can master em... is that cool wit everyone? i got some beats i haven't posted on soundclick yet that i'll let ya'll know about when i post em. any objections lets hear the creative ideas ight?

I can get us a pretty good mix, as far as vocal levels, compression, expansion, reverb, delay etc etc...

Plugin wise I'm working with waves plugins, p2p vintage warmer (which most likely I'll run the master bus through). Sometimes I run the master bus through my Pro VLA depending on the sound.

So for all of us using CEP/Audition, I like the way Change and I hooked up on here. He sent me his actual session so I didn't have to line up the vocals, dubs and adlibs. If everyone sends me their sessions, it'll make things a lot easier. But for those of us not using CEP/AA just send wav files and a reference track matched to the tempo (pretty much quantized so to speak starting on 1:1...2:1 etc...)

With Change being experienced, he already processed his vocals which sounded damn good, but he also used the realtime effects in the multi track session so I could have changed them if needed. If yall want to process your on vocals that's fine, if not I or Desert Ease can. So it's on you DE, I don't mind mixing it, but if you want to that's cool. But I agree with DE...lol let's agree on a beat and get this rolling :D
 
what are the beats that we are going to decide on? how many tracks are we doin? 1 or a whole cd? lol
 
lol seems like a whole cd. but im down for a track or 2. It really doesn't matter what beat to me, as long as I can feed off of someone elses verse. I was leaving that up to everyone who is participating. Those 3 beats I posted, and we have you 30+ beats on soundclick...LOL I liked the "Old School" beat on you page the most I think. I'm gonna listen again now, but it really doesn't matter 2 me.

K, check Empacts thread... he put a beat up he wanted to collab on. Do yall think 4 ppl are too many on the track?
 
nah 4 ain't bad just gotta make sure the beat is gonna keep em entertained long enough to wanna listen to 4 deep u know like snare solos and a lot of frosting change ups etc.
 
are you all comimg up with a concept for the song you all are doing..or just gettin on their and rappin what you all feel..

im waiting to here whats come about on this..

I think it should be a concept for 1 theme cuz to me 4 deep all rappin about diff. shit is just sloppy imo. killah wut ain't u feelin? wut u tryin to see?
