Just did a short trial with it along with an ST and a KSM-32. I bought the ST as it's a bit more cost effective for me right now. But at this point, I've only done a male and female vocal on them, and what has really hit home is how much more tone options there are in multi-patterns (my first -AT4047 was my primary befor) The TL (hope i got that right) is supposed to be mellower. Maybe some time...

The Lady I expected to sound fizzy on a bright condensor sounded wonderfull on the A48 with a dual-pop filter in front (but did cardioid only on her.) The Guy sounded very bright on it, but in fig-8, VERY throaty (spl?). I like lots!.
And what about going to the back side of dual capsule mics? Haven't EVEN gone there yet. (??

I had one here briefly, before it went back for modification. Used it on drum OH and room mic for multiple instruments in mono. Well, it really blew me away - I've never heard such a complete drumkit sound from a single mic. It compares very favorably to the Neumann M149 (which costs 4X as much...).
