Anyone using Abit IC7 motherboard with Aard 24/96?

I posted earlier with problems using the Aardvark DirectPro 24/46 and Sonar 3. I spent considerable time trouble shooting, got some great help here. After a couple of sessions with Aardvark support, ended up suspecting the Abit IC7 motherboard as perhaps not keeping PCI voltage as high as it should be.


The cards works well in my other PC with SONAR 1.3, but on my new PC the card would start to squeal using both SONAR3 and a Cubase demo.

Aardvark techs were nice, but I had to be very persistent to get them on the phone. They still haven't answered an email I sent Saturday.

Motherboards:
Chipset is generally the best predictor of compatibility and performance, but it's still wise to stick to a well known manufacturer when purchasing a motherboard. Companies like Asus, Abit, Gigabyte, Intel, and Tyan are usually safe bets when selecting a motherboard.
