Anyone used one of these?

I would be cautious, the MZH product number mentioned in the ad is the product number of the clip, not the microphone.

The microphone pictured is the Sennheiser e604. It's a very good dynamic mic for drums (snare and rack toms) But the other fellow is right, the product code is for the clip. In the US the MSRP for this mic is $159.00 but can be had with a lot of haggling at Guitar Center for $60.00 (approx.). Make sure they are selling the mic, and I don't know what he rate of exchange is between US-Australian so see if it is worth it to you.
It's a VERY good dynamic drum mic.

I have to say, I don't know anything it's good for except some percussion. Radio Shack made a knockoff for a long time. I'd rather spend the money on an SM57, which is good on drums and many other things. The e604 is small, though, I'll give it that. I wouldn't try singing into one.-Richie

the e604 is a great live mic, it can take a serious stick beating. if you do live sound, it's great but if you want critical, stick to shure or audix or something like that.
