Anyone tried a Phonic Firewire Mixer ?

Has anyone here tried a Phonic Firewire Mixer ? I'm considering the Phonic 12 FW Mixer.
Sounds like a hybrid of a traditonal analog mixer, with Firewire I/O.
Anything good or bad to say about them ? Any special features ?

I've been using one for the last couple of years. No problems at all. I like the fact that I can monitor the recorded channels and apply effects to the monitor feed without sending the effect to the computer. So, I can record vocals with a little reverb, yet the only thing going to the computer is the raw vocal signal. To me, that's important.

The mic pre's are not the best, but they don't sound bad.

It's also nice to know I can use it for live sound if I wanted.
