Anyone pro here to master a metal EP?

incidentally, the instruments were not the best available---- guitar amp was one of the newer 120 watt crate half-stacks, and dood used way too much distortion despite asking him to ease up several times, hence the SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS on top of the guitar (which was also a nightmare to tune with his improperly set up floyd). drums were of reasonable quality, but dood was pretty loose, and consequently had loose control over his dynamics and power. bass was a $200 peavey that i DI'ed with a very average DI box. this tune was supposed to have cookie monster vocals, shredder leads; the whole bit.
