Anyone need some extra practice mixing??

Hi everyone. To keep it short, I recorded my band at our rehearsal space a couple weeks ago. We did 3 Rhcp covers (factory of faith, monarchy of roses, and otherside) and 2 originals. professional video was also taken and these vids are going to our YouTube page when the videographer is done. I've mixed these already and they're satisfactory but if anyone wants some practice and is up for the challenge I'll happily send the wave files to you. I had a large diaphragm on the drums with the bottom snare and kick mic'd. Bass di and an sm 57 on the guitar and 2 vox.

*****************Please remember to use the Camera Audio tracks to align wherever the recorded audio hiccups are + patch using those same files or repeat parts from the song. Looking forward to what you all can do! Thanks :) The best ones (as long as its better than my mixes) will go up on youtube shortly. Dont mean to rush but try to get these back to me as soon as reasonably possible for you. (not a month from now) lol Thanks everyone!

For other small production notes:
- Drummer and bassist love to be present (within reason, but dont be shy on the compression or whatever you need to do to get an in your face sound from the rhythm section)
-Im the guitarist and backing vocalist (not very good at the latter) I only sing in the cover tunes so plz reference the actual songs (Factory of Faith, Otherside, and Monarchy of Roses by the Red hot Chili Peppers for mix ideas) and also dont have me very present in Monarchy of Roses because Im not naturally able to sing that way and it came out terrible.
-you can pan the guitar a bit to the left as thats where I will be in the video.

I'd be happy to give your originals a try - but perhaps you should listen to my stuff to work out if you think I could add any value to what you've already done.

I just wanted to add that my laptop isn't the greatest and as a result there are 2-3 small hiccups per song so I will send the camera audio along with it so you guys can patch accordingly. It'll have to line up (pretty or not) in order to not screw over the video.
 
Yeah, hook me up too, let me see what I can do. I could use a change of pace from what I am working on now.

Thanks Mike! They should be lined up already. I already cut some of the parts that werent necessary as well so some of the work is already done. Should just be the fun stuff that youre left with. (along with fixing my voice haha)
 
OK. I've worked on your originals. I figured out what you meant by hicups. That's why I worked on basicly the originals. I did work on "Otherside" but I ran out of gas fixing what I think is bad edits. Too much effort for covers. Would you want emails of the mixes? Post MP3's?

I didn't do anything too extreme but i did notice that the song has electronic drums layered over the regular ones so i decided to add that in. Good stuff BTW! :D What File type would you like it in?
