Anyone like HEAVY ROCK METAL?

Thought i would let some people hear this song of the band i am with.
I chose this particular song as it is the first song we wrote and performed as a band and that it has loads of rythmic energy and funky bass guitar!

The song is recorded live, so it isnt the best recording.

Please give us some HONEST feedback about this song if you are into this
sort of music. Why mock a song if you dont like that genre?

I listened to like a minute of it, refreshed my page, and now winamp is telling me file not available and web page says same thing. Well I remember at 1:01 I thought my speakers were blowing out cuz the guitar was louderer than everything else, and like you said its live, so drums sound live and mic'd badly. I dont know if that bass was "funky" and sounded out of place. I usually listen to song 2 or 3 times if I write something, but thats not an option now.

The music is good, but the singer doesn't fit at all. In the parts without the distorted guitar he sounds kinda whiny, and in the heavy distorted part his voice doesn't fit. And when it's just vocals and Bass with the feedback from the guitars, the bass and the vocals sound like they're fighting with eachother. Not bad

I agree that the music is good. The vocal ambience does not work too well with the rest of the music.

I would work on a stronger hook

I like the rapping sorta thing goin on durin the hard part... but i dont like when the vocals actually try to sing over it... Maybe over the softer parts of the song, you can "sing" but I like the rapping over the harder part...def reminds me of ratm (when you rap over the hard part).
