Anyone knows "Recording & Production Techniques" book, by Paul White? Is it any good?

Just this Is this book good? Any opinions? Any other suggestion instead?

its ok, depends what youre after. its more about the science and probably more useful for those recording sound live. if you use cubase, logic, etc, youre better getting a book more related to them. there's one for cubase called mixing and mastering for cubase sx (or something like that - can anyone correct me?) that i had that is excellent.
