Anyone know the Joy Division - Unknown Pleasures album?

Man it sounds great. I didn't think it sounded good at first, but I'm listening to the EQs...are they API preamps? Would be analog guy here.

I do quite a bit of mastering for Ben (though I didn't do this record), I'll ask him next week if I can remember...

That'd be great! Thank you. I've heard the API 2248 EQs are very "musical", and I would describe the EQ used on this album as just that.

When I first started recording as a teenager i used to model the drum sounds off that album. It usually caused me to put WAY too much reverb on everything. Great album!
