Can't you just buy a female Tuchel and a male XLR plug and make a cable?

That would involve me knowing how to solder.

Which I don't.

Go buy yourself a soldering iron then for a couple of pounds. It's a very useful skill and is pretty easy to learn.

i agree, so long as you don't mind the lung damage, burnt thumbs, ruined electronics, smoldering furniture, birth defects and cancer.

You could avoid most of those problems by not eating/touching hot solder.:D

Seriously though, if you learn in a well ventilated area, get someone experienced to help you learn, and practice on unimportant electronics/practice kits before moving on to the real stuff, soldering is the way to go.

I just bought a pair of female Tuchels for €10(ex P&P).

Good for me! :D

If you need someone to build the cables just send the stuff to my house....

...seriously.:o

Thanks for the offer Jake. I may well take you up on it :)

(Yeah, I know guys, I'm lame for getting someone else to do it; instead of learning how to do it myself).

I doubt that the dozen welds that I make in a year are more harmful than breathing the car fumes in traffic every day.

Mark, contact Sennheiser, they still make the tuchel/XLR cables
according to your custom request (cable length).
