I've been looking to buy a pair of used KRK V4 monitors, and came across a guy selling a pair online that he's listed as non-powered V4's. I've done lots of looking around the net, the krk website and the forum archives here, but haven't seen any mention of a passive version anywhere. From what I understood, they were released from the beginning only as an active set.
I've received jpegs of the set he has for sale and they certainly look like V4's and are passive. Has anyone heard of these before? Any help would be appreciated.
