These are different features thatthe 64o has but i dont know how to use them. Anyone?

Built-in Floppy Disk DriveBoth PSR-640 and PSR-740 are equipped with a floppy disk drive that allows you to play back MIDI song data in a variety of formats - including SMF 0 and format 1, DOC, and Disklavier formats - and gives you the benefit of unlimited storage for your original musical compositions.
What does this mean?

MIDI / PC InterfaceExpand your musical possibilities by connecting the keyboard to external MIDI devices or even to a personal computer. Both modes are MIDI-equipped allowing you to take advantage of the vast amount of music software and MIDI files available on the market and online.

Can i download sounds from the internet?

The twin LCD featured on these keyboards displays song lyric data from Karaoke disks in real-time for endless singing enjoyment. This unique display also makes keyboard operation easier and more convenient by displaying more information at once.

Hello Shana,
Dont know of the Psr-640, but I can take an educated
guess as to what that all means.

Question 1:

You can buy disks from Yamaha and others that
you can put in the floppy drive, and they will
play back pre-recorded midi tracks. You can
also save your midi tracks to a floppy.

Question 2:

No, you can't download sounds from the internet, sorry.
That blurb just means the PSR does midi stuff with
a computer, but the computer does all the good stuff.

Question 3:

The Psr must read a certain kind of floppy that
has Karoake lyrics that will be displayed on
the Psr's Screen. Might be hard to see on the
little screen, but that might make it even more
fun if people are doing karoake and have to
guess some of the words! Good Luck David
