I own a 319 and it has worked well on backing vocals and viola.
Check my first MP3 post http://www.nowhereradio.com/artists/?aid=3239/album680. The backing vocal track was done by Carolyn Pfeffer with an MK319 going into a Joemeek twinQcs. It's a dark vocal mic, good for scrubbing some of the piercing highs off a strong singer like Carolyn. At it's pricepoint, it's a worthy mic. Don't let them trick you into a 219 because it has the same capsule in it.-Richie
P.S.- these tracks were done with no compression, EQ, reverb, nothing.

I don't suppose you could make that a downloadable track could you? I detest streaming audio. Especially when it's nearly 10 MBs big.

I've heard one of those that was a mess. It came new from MF and it sounded like it was sputtering.

You did notice that the listing showed it as being discontinued? My understanding that means that it is not going to come back into inventory ever, otherwise it will say that it is backordered.

Yeah, now that I got one, the band on it is like a hair band, but it works pretty good. So far I love it on our vocals.
