Anyone ever use a FIREPOD along with a PCI interface?

I guess the title speaks for itself...
I currently use a Delta 44 soundcard and some standalone pre-amps. I'm interested in expanding my inputs with something like the Firepod so I will have the extra pre-amps when I need them but I'm wondering if I will still be able to use the Delta 44, even if not at the same time. Anybody ever do anything like this?

i have a firepod and a esi juli@ pci soundcard. the thing i noticed was that the juli@ wanted to be selfish and be the only soundcard. for instance i would have to disable the juli@ in order to get my software to recognize the firepod. but then again, i could have been doing something wrong.

overall though the firepod is SWEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!!

You would need to sync the two clocks, which I don't think is possible as the 44 doesn't have SP/DIF (don't know about the Firepod though) You CAN sync multiple 44s via software (look up kernel sync on the M-Audio website) though.

Disclaimer - I have the 44, but haven't attempted to have it cooperate with any other audio devices.

I had a Firepod and an Echo Indigo IO (cardbus, but similar to PCI), and they didn't like each other at all being in the same system, not even being accessed simultaneoulsy, they still didn't work together.
