Hey All,
First poster here. I have an Echo Layla20 that was completely trouble-free until about six months ago, when I started to notice an increasingly audible hummmm coming from the break-out box. Then, all of the meters peaked out, and the hum got worse. I did the usual response to technology that is marginally over my head...and replaced it. Now I am thinking that instead of chucking it, maybe I should have it looked at to be repaired, but since it is WAY out of warrantee, Echo will be only too happy to "take a look" at it for a fee. Has anyone ever had to have their audio card/break-out box repaired? and what did it turn out to be? Was it cost-prohibitive?
Thanks for taking a look,
Havenlane
