Anyone dig this intro? [hiphop beat w/guitar]

I should preface this by saying it's a very brief intro part I'm trying to explore as a whole song. I really like hammerhead beats for some reason, even though they're fake as hell.

I'm just looking for a little feedback to see if you think it'll work, or does it sound like total cheese so far? I'm not usually a hip hop fan, but I keep wanting to use those types of beats with electric guitars.

sounds pretty nice. a bit too long of an intro. For some reason, the drum pattern did not gel too well. I dont know how to make it better but I would have preferred to hear a more laid back pattern

I think it has a lot of potential. I'd like to hear the rest of the song when it's done; it reminds me of something I can't put my finger on. I agree with Cyan that the intro might be a bit long, but I like it.

thanks for the input! I'll shorten up the intro, and post the full song with all the trimmings when it's done.

cyan: I think it sounds a little off because I recorded the guitar part a long time ago just to remember the riff, and I snuck some drums under it way later, so the timing is a tad off. I basically have to do it all over during a "real" recording session.
