INTO YOU- good song. Instrumentation was nice. Too heavy on the reverb at intro for my taste (who cares). The effects on the vocals were heavy, but they did produce an ethereal feel to it- which is probably what you were looking for. Great effort.

Ric, nice. I listened a coupled of times to "Into You". Good imagry. I don't have any input because I can't hear anything that I would change. Great job. By the way, you were telling me in an earlier post that your voice was high... yuppers.

Who did your mp3.com "band picture"? Did you do that graphic/image? (off topic sorry).

Ethereal is definately the word...very spacey...the effects were cool...mix-wise I don't have a word to say because I wouldn't know what could be improved upon sound-wise, if anything, because I'm sure the creative aspects of your music are really integral to the over all feeling of the tunes....I'm pretty unsophisticated about this kind of music...but it had a nice sound...gibs

Thanks guys fer checkin out my sound! :)

kmar-yeah..the reverb is heavey. But if I lessened it..it kinda lost the "aura". I am hardly ever reverb heavy, but this song seemed to want to go in that direction. Thanx.

Teddie-thanks for the listen. It's a quaint little thing eh? Glad you liked it. I figured you'd take note of my range!! :)

The artwork is a combination of me and other artists...no prob on the off topic. It's all about music too (the image we throw right?)

I think this is the most reasonable overview/critique I have read regarding anyones music. The italics denote you are more sophisticated than you give your self credit. Thank you. :)

I have quite a few more I'll slowly be gettin up there..I'll let everyone know if you'd like. I'll also do more on my part to check on more friends endeavors here on the BBS. Ain't music GREAT?!?!?!

See ya.

Ric, really liked your tunes, can't reply on mix because of crappy pc speakers but it sounded great on them...looking foward to hearing more!

Ric,
Though I thought the "verb" was heavy at intro, that does'nt mean it was wrong! EVERYBODY is a producer- including me. The important thing is, you mix it like YOU want to! GO! I look forward to hearing more of your stuff, and others, as I have the time. If I ever get MP3 downloaded, I'll fire some of my stuff off. This is truly great fun being able to listen to extraordinary music from the home studios of the planet. kmar

I only have the cheap computer speakers, so any reports on mix are limited by what my little comp. will let me hear. Had a nice urban-morphine dream (not a band)quality to it. During the choruses, I thought it'd be cool to have some deep vibro guitar chords, and maybe some synth pads to add to the sprawling sounds, but like i said... cheap speakers. How's this for a by-line.
Combination Queen-Monkees-the verve-Air.
Good stuff, And your voice kicks ass for this kind of music.-lzb

Thanks for checking in...hey, ever tried line
out on your sound card and pluggin in to a stereo?? Mucho better sound quality. :)

kmar

Your right. In my head, I tried to visualize
a real space that would have that effect. Large empty auditoriums, Under a huge bridge, playing in a humongous cavern...yeah, the natural verb is possible...so there it be. :) Definitely let me know when you have stuff available. Um all ears!!!

Hey thanks for the review man! Urban-morphine dream is an excellent description!!
Thanks on the kudos for the vox. It's a tuffy to produce I'll tell ya.
