Anybody tried the GFS Neovins?

I was wondering if anyone had any of these installed in their axe.

Have you been able to make a reasonable comparison with other pickups?

any info would be helpful.

I've not. I'd like a set, but I don't really have a guitar I want to swap into.

The harmony-central.com forum has some users and clips. Search the site through google, the HC search engine is nearly useless.
 
thanks, yeah i took a look at HC and only found one review of the neovins. not very complimentary to say the least.

i know they're nowhere near lindy fralin's stuff, but at less than half the price they intrigue me. wouldn't care if they were "super vintagey", but if they had a good bell quality i'd probably bite.

maybe i can save my lunch money and get the lindy's. i just wonder if the neovins are of any tone quality. i've heard good things about some of the other pups they sell. never heard anyone comment on the neovins.

i really only need a neck and middle anyways.
