Anybody seen this: M-Audio Tampa mic pre?

Hmmm... you can re-arrange it to say Pamta.... pretty close.
Looks pretty cool, wonder what the asking is...
Looks better than the Penta, though that means nothing.

Hey Cyan, if you get a chance, do some research on the Soundelux U195 wherever, look around on RAP, too. I think this might be the one for you thats at or right under a grand. Its a lot more versatile than most mics too. Smoother than the TLM-103 to most people.
 
is $629 the price of the pamta or the soundelux?

Hey tubedude, there are many mics on my to buy list, and the u195 is one of them. I've changed my mind on the tlm103. I dont like it enough to buy it.

Now, I am looking at the u195 and the nevaton series of mics, and maybe the mbhos.

I like the blueberry for my voice though. I tried it on a female singer and it sounded horrible. We then tried the 4033 and everybody agreed that the 4033 sounded better on her.

Unfortunately, I wont be in the market for the tampa or pamta thing. I am still lusting for the tubes of a vmp-2
