Anybody interested in playing at an anime convention?

I couldn't think of a better place for it, so this thread goes here!

I'm on the planning committe for an anime/gaming convention in Eau Claire, WI. This year we've decided to add a battle of the bands to the event roster. Would anyone here be interested in participating? We need more bands than we have now (2).

I am not coming, but post more details. Also, try putting out flyers around highschools/colleges in the area... they are always ripe with bands who wanna make it big.

More details! It would take a pretty good prize to get us to make the trek, but hey, if the prize is worth it...

Umm... The bands won't be paid. Actually, since it's a con event, the bands will have to pay to attend the con ($15 a person if you're only there for Friday; $30-$45 for the whole weekend).

This is a fairly low key thing. It's a chance for people attending the con to show off their musical talents.

Actually, the Battle of the Bands probably itself isn't really worth going too far out of your way for. However, if you're interested in coming to an anime convention, this is the one to attend. The BotB is just icing on the cake.

We're just hoping to put on a fun event that makes the convention a better experience for everyone who participates.
